RE: School Calendar Changes
Dear Students, Staff and Community,
At the RSU #38 Board of Directors meeting on February 15, 2023 the decision was made to make a couple of calendar changes for the remainder of the current school year.
Friday, March 17 will now be a full student day at all schools.
The week of Monday, March 6 thru Friday, March 10 the Middle School and High School will have 1 hour added to each day. The dismissal time for the middle and high schools that week will be 3:30. (All elementary schools will dismiss at the regular time of 2:30 pm that week - Parents be aware that your elementary child will arrive home earlier than usual this week. Please plan accordingly. )
The last student day for the current school year will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
There will be a full workshop for professional staff on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Thursday, June 15, 2023 will be the final staff day.
If any further storm days are needed the Board voted to authorize me to make up the day using the method of adding an hour to 5 school days. Proper advance notice will be communicated if this is necessary.
