RSU 38 parent and community updates on school reopening can now be found at maranacook.org.

Below is the link to the recorded Special Board Meeting held on 8/12/2020. Having both zoom and in-person meetings at once is challenging for video and audio. We are coming up with a plan to do a better job. We tried to improve the audio as much as we could but there are still parts that are difficult to hear. We ask for your patience as we work through this process.

Thank you for your questions regarding the revised school calendar, in particular, the first student week and Wednesday 9/9. The calendar is correct; there will be school for students on Wednesday, 9/9. We found it important to hold school that day since Monday is a holiday, and Tuesday is the first student day for select grades.
To clarify, the first student day for Grades K-2, 6, and 9 is Tuesday, 9/8. The first student day for Grades PreK, 3-5, 7, 8, and 10-12 is Wednesday, 9/9. Students enrolled in the CATC program will attend school at MCHS on 9/9 and 9/10; their first day at the CATC program will be Friday, 9/11.
Sincerely,
Jay Charette
